One of the most enduring family-run business stories in American history. It began when inventor Walter Nickel created a sturdy corrugated fiberboard box meant for storing bank records. When Nickel was drafted into WWI, tailor Harry Fellowes bought the business for a mere $121.40. Upon returning from the war, Nickel rejoined him, and they formed the Bankers Box Company. In 1983, under the leadership of the third generation, the company changed its name to Fellowes to reflect their transition into business machines.  Fellowes offers a broad range of workplace products that support organisation, document handling, and office efficiency.
